Kowa to Premiere New Lightweight 21 oz binocular Series at 2009 SHOT Show
Los Angeles, CA – Kowa Optimed, Inc, leading optics innovators, announce that they will premiere their latest in binocular engineering at the January 2009 SHOT Show Exposition in Orlando, Florida. The Genesis-33 Series utilizes the latest in Prominar technology, as well as many cutting edge features, all within a lightweight, weather proof ergonomic housing.
The
Genesis 33 Series showcases four Prominar XD lens elements, reducing chromatic aberration and creating brighter images highlighted by high contrast and unrivaled color reproduction. The Prominar lens technology offers the highest resolution combined with precise color definition and edge-to-edge sharpness for optimum viewing enjoyment. The precise color definition is Kowa’s latest advancement. Their new multi-coated optical system and C3 prism coating creates higher reflectivity and minimizes loss of light.
The large focusing knob and smooth focusing features make quick and accurate focusing simple. The new Genesis 33 Series offers two models: 8x, 10x. Both models showcase an extremely wide field of view. The 8x model lends an 8.0Ëš real field of view (420ft at 1000yds.), with a minimum focusing distance of 5 feet. The 10x offers an impressive 6.8Ëš real field of view (357ft at 1000yds) and a minimum focusing distance equal to the 8x model. This makes the Genesis-33 Series the ideal optic for observing plants, insects and other objects within close range, while revealing a larger field. The Genesis 33 Series has a MSRP of $1,250.00 for the 8×33 and $1,400.00 for the 10×33.
