NRA To Honor Veterans at NRA Range on Veterans Day With Free Shoot

National Rifle Association

FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA – The National Rifle Association is sponsoring a free shoot for interested U.S. military personnel and U.S. military veterans at its headquarters range in Fairfax, Virginia, on Veteran’s Day, Tuesday, November 11. Space is limited. In order to attend, please e-mail Danielle Sturgis [email protected].

The event is scheduled from 5 to 8 p.m. with a casual dinner offered at the range’s classroom. Firearms and ammo will be provided. Military personnel and veterans will be asked to take a short range test if they have not shot at the NRA’s range prior to the event.

“Veterans are appreciated by the NRA’s four million members every day of the year, but we’d like to offer this token of gratitude on Veteran’s Day,” NRA Executive Director and retired Marine Kayne Robinson said. “We are always looking for new ways to show our brave servicemen and women we care.”

The event is offered free of change thanks to generous sponsorships and donations of the following organizations: Midway USA; Winchester; the NRA Range; National Firearms Museum; U.S. Peacekeeper; Chick-Fil-A; and the NRA Cafe. Sponsorship packages are available for any interested business, and donations of attendance prizes are welcomed.

The National Rifle Association’s range is open to the public during the following hours: Mondays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Wednesdays 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Thursdays 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Fridays 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Saturdays 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.; and Sundays 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Learn more at www.nrahq.org.
