Kimber Tactical Rifles have seen overwhelming demand since the day they were introduced. New this year is the Model 8400 Police Tactical. Chambered in .300 Win. Mag., this rifle offers extraordinary performance and value. The great .280 Ackley Improved cartridge is now available in Kimber Model 8400 Classic Select Grade and Montana models. Also by request, the 7mm Rem. Mag. is now offered in the Model 8400 Classic and Sonora. Finally, the Model 8400 SuperAmerica-Kimber’s finest rifle-is now offered in America’s most popular cartridges; .270 Win. and .30-06 Spfd.
The Model 8400 Police Tactical incorporates the accuracy features that have made Kimber tactical, varmint and hunting rifles famous. Barrels, chambers and triggers are match grade. The fluted heavy barrel is free-floated, and the action is glassed and bedded on twin aluminum pillars. Additional features include an extended bolt handle with oversized knob and a Picatinny rail with 20 minutes of elevation built in for long-range confidence. The rock-steady black laminated stock features a beavertail forend with three swivel studs, two for a sling and the extra for a bipod.
