Seaside, Oregon - -(AmmoLand.com)- A new culinary website, RecipesFromTheWild.com, went live this week, offering sportsmen the opportunity to expand their recipe rolodex.

Company founder, Bethel Honan, of Seaside, Oregon, is a graduate of Western Culinary Institute and says the idea developed from necessity.

“After marrying an avid hunter and angler, I searched the web for a great ground venison recipe but was uninspired by what I found,” says Honan. “I knew I had to develop something that lets people submit and share their wild game recipes and get some great options in return.”

RecipesFromTheWild.com allows users to register for free.  Then they can submit their own recipes and select recipes from other members. The site is also open to the general public for free browsing.

Honan hopes the site will not only open doors to new, creative ways to prepare dinner, but also connect people who value wild-game conservation and the health and sustainability benefits of using locally-harvested seafood, meats and other ingredients.

About:
www.RecipesFromTheWild.com is a recipe-sharing website designed to provide members with creative options for preparing wild game dishes.  With a focus on social networking among both professional and amateur cooks, the Oregon-based site allows members to post information on fresh ingredients and culinary resources.
