Lets vote out all incumbants, they have forgotten who put them there and why they were elected. If all your going to do is complain, you deserve what happens to you.
Why do we vote for these gutless morons. Holder has obviously broken several laws and is guilty of perjury.Yet the Republicans are timidly afraid to go after this sack of excrement because it’s an election year and he is Black. The Law is colorblind people!Let Holder face the cold hard truth and pay the price for his crimes!!
I’m in Ohio and will be leaving soon because Ohio Sucks. They want to be big time northeastern liberal and won’t stop until they get there, on the backs of everyone else, as usual.
Their gun laws are a very dangerous and unconstitutional joke but they don’t care and sad to say, law enforcement is on their side. At some point you just have to cut your losses and leave it to the commies. The Republican party leadership is still working for the other side, so that’s pretty much it.
[...] legal advice should be sought before creating a gun trust. A recent article in AmmoLand, titled A New Breed of Gun Trusts – Protecting Firearms Collectors & Their Collections, goes into detail about what a gun trust is for and how gun trusts [...]
Very wise and prudent advice. I have tried all three avenues, with a good deal of success.
However, there have been times when “drastic” action was necessary, and taken. To wit:
After many years of lobbying the state legislature for passage of “shall issue” concealed carry in Ohio, our efforts came to fruition in 2004. Unfortunately, several “public servants” took it upon themselves to ignore state law and the Constitutions of the United States and Ohio, and declared many areas prohibited for lawful concealed carry. Toledo, Ohio, under former mayor Jack Ford was one such locale.
After attempting to debate the issue in public forums with the offending parties (mayor Ford, Police Chief Mike Navarre, acting law director John Madigan, and the director of parks and recreation) I was snubbed, ignored, insulted, threatened with arrest, and physically assaulted, in public, by the chief of police, for trying to explain that the city and city “officials” were violating several laws, the state constitution, and the Rights of the People.
To make a point that would stick, I put my own ass on the line, and held a “Pistol Packin’ Picnic” in Ottawa Park, City of Toledo on April 9, 2005, complete with a birthday cake commemmorating the 1 year anniversary of shall issue CCW in Ohio.
I was cited, tried, and CONVICTED for carrying a concealed handgun, while licensed by the state, in an area WHERE IT WAS LEGAL TO DO SO UNDER STATE LAW. My case went to the state supreme court, which declined to hear my appeal, but explained that I was right, the city was wrong, but still refused to strike my conviction. Now, for the Silver Lining.
The state legislature did not take kindly to Toledo thumbing its nose to that body, and proceeded to pass legislation pre-empting the issue of firearms, in toto, statewide. Thus, approximately 80+ local laws, ordinances, and regulations were stricken from the books. Things like “Saturday Night Special” bans, “assault weapon” bans, handgun owner I. D. cards, licensing, registration, magazine restrictions – all GONE.FINI. KAPUT.
As in war, sometimes diplomacy just doesn’t work.
