Like other ExcursionEX binoculars it features fully multi-coated optics with PC-3 phase coated prisms for a dramatic improvement in resolution and contrast. Sort of an odd statement- “it provides 30 percent more viewing area than comparable 10x binoculars.”
By definition a 7x binocular will always have more viewing area than a 10x. Big deal. I bet images look steadier with this 7x than with 10x too. Again, a function of the power not the design. How does it compare to other 7x?
