Milford, NH --(AmmoLand.com)- It’s hard to believe that J.C. Devine Inc. will soon be celebrating its 35th year of service. We still stand strong as America’s oldest specialty firearm’s auctioneer and appraisal company.

This feat is due largely in part to your trust in us in bringing firearms to auction. We have worked hard over these past 34 years to achieve the best results for the items we bring to auction. We would like to thank customers like yourself in making our history a successful one. Going forward we know that it takes customer involvement to continue our success, with that in mind we wanted to make sure you are aware that J.C.Devine Inc. pays referral fees.

We are always seeking consignments of quality firearms and are willing to pay for your knowledge. If you know of a collection no matter how large or small your referral given to J.C. Devine Inc. can net you a big return, once the collection is sold thru J.C. Devine Inc. we will pay you a referral fee.

With the current economic trend I am sure you will agree that extra “found” money is very important to your family. On the flip side of that is the current political climate that has kept firearm sales at a high without a downturn in sight.

We have made several changes over the years; our facility in Milford NH is constantly updating in order to accommodate the nature of the firearms industry. We have changed some of our procedures as well, for instance we have added additional viewing times on Saturday for your convenience. We moved our auction location to the beautiful Radisson Hotel at exit 1 in Nashua NH in their grand ballroom. This move has made it easier for us to display and distribute the many firearms we have in each of our auctions. Online bidding through our website has been updated to make it easier for you. One of our staff members is always available (even after normal business hours) to answer any immediate need or concern you may have.

We invite you to participate in our auctions in 2010. We guarantee each auction will be as exciting as the last one with new events happening each time. Call, write or email us and one of our friendly staff members will be glad to assist you with any questions or comments you may have.

I’m Running For Office? What’s Ahead? Lend A Hand Please

Indianapolis, IN --(AmmoLand.com)-Last night Margie and I attended the Posey County Lincoln Day Dinner. I was asked to speak about the 2nd Amendment Patriots. Afterwards all of the candidates for office who were present were invited up to introduce themselves.

I,too, was invited because I had made it known that I’ve taken steps to run for the Indiana State Senate seat in District 49 on the Republican ticket. This office is currently being held by Democrat Bob Deig.

There will be a Republican primary for this race so Margie and I hope that we can get help in this endeavor.

I campaigned in 2004 for a House race and we clearly remember the effort and commitment it took. I don’t make this decision lightly and Margie and I intend to put forth the same level of work now as we did 5 years ago. We sincerely hope that all of you will keep us in your prayers and any help will be appreciated. We thank you.

I’ll have more to report at our 2nd Amendment Patriot meeting on Saturday Oct. 31st and in future letters.

Speaking of Patriot meeting you won’t want to miss this one. I think there is going to be an interesting visitor.

Unrelated to the visitor we may have at our next meeting I did receive a letter from Congressman Ellsworth’s scheduler this week. She wrote to say that the Congressman has received several requests from members of the 2nd Amendment Patriots to attend a meeting. She was asking about the October meeting and the date of our November meeting. I don’t know yet when we can expect him, but I will let you know as soon as I hear back. The postcards that you all filled out at our last meeting at least got their attention.

Lastly, I want to mention that Mike Sandefur with the Freedom Maker Organization is looking for help at manning the table at the Owensboro, KY gun show this weekend.
The show starts at 9:00 AM on Sat and Sun. The location is Sportscenter, just off W. Parrish Ave. behind the National Guard Armory. If you can help call Mike at 812-449-5695. Thanks.

We look forward to seeing all of you at the next 2nd Amendment Patriots meeting on Oct. 31st at 6 PM at the West Side Sportsman’s Club. Margie said it will soup night or something to go with it. No chili, that will be for another time.
