Mayors Against Illegal Guns Loses Yet Another Member

Baltimore, MD --(AmmoLand.com)- Mayor Sheila Dixon (D) has accepted a plea deal for perjury charges stemming from accusations that she did not report gifts she received from a local developer. In a teary announcement yesterday, she resigned her post as the Mayor of Baltimore as part of the plea.
As you will recall, Dixon, a vocal member of “Mayors Against Illegal Guns,” was convicted last month of pocketing gift cards intended for Baltimore’s needy families.
Dixon now joins the ranks of disgraced anti-gun politicians like former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich (D) and Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick (D) of Detroit. Perhaps these folks should focus on abiding by the law themselves instead of persecuting law-abiding citizens.
“Mayors Against Illegal Guns” (MAIG) was founded and is funded by activist anti-gun billionaire and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg as a front group to lobby Congress to oppose important pro-gun reforms and support new federal gun control restrictions.
Despite its very misleading name, this national group of anti-gun mayors has lobbied Congress against national reciprocity of state Right-to-Carry permits, against much-needed reform of the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE), for regulating gun shows out of existence, and for repealing the Tiahrt Amendment that protects the privacy rights of law-abiding gun owners and limits disclosure of sensitive firearm trace data to protect law enforcement personnel and protect lawful gun manufacturers from bogus lawsuits.

This is where “the system” always screw up. They let these people off with such lame excuses for a punishment. I am so tired of this crap. Burn ‘em alive! Make examples out of all of them. If it were you or I that commited the simplest of misdemeanors, we would loose every bit of Freedom we ever owned. This has got to be turned around, in the most desperate way. If anyone, I mean ANYONE that holds a public office commits the smallest infraction against society, they should be strung up by their heels and left out in the open for the buzzards, and for all to see! I believe then and only then will people start to realize that if you mess up, if you think that just because you hold an office of “power”, you will be made a spectacle of, in the biggest way possible whether it might be considered cruel or not. Enough is enough. They are criminals, each and every Got Dang one of them!
I understand your rage Clint. my question is simply this, When will the people remember that Our Constitution tells us that ours is a Government OF the people, FOR the People and BY THE PEOPLE! This means that elected officials are NOT OUR LEADERS, THEY ARE NOT OVER US. they do not have any authourity over us. They are OUR EMPLOYEES! They are hired by ballot to do a job. They answer to their employers. Our employees are now all career polititions. Career polititions have always been and always will be liars and thieves. Now if we lied to our employer on our application, over and over while employed, stole from our boss repeatedly, refused to do the will of our boss, and did that which was not in the best interest of our boss, How long would we keep our jobs? How long would we stay out of jail? how long did Kennedy stay in congress? Why? Why did the people allow him to stay there until he finally made it to the feiry pit. Every employee we have in congress and the presidency needs to be fired. They have lied to us. They have stolen from us. they have refused to obey the rules. Why do we put up with it?? Why do so many of the good people with some sense not vote? Why do idiots like my Baby brother do something like vote for nobamma! When I asked him why, he said “I AM A DEMOCRAT”. sHT! He doesn’t even know what a democrat is. He is just like so many. They do not know and do not wish to know anything except they vote and have always voted democrat because mommy and daddy said always to do so. People in their 80′s and 90′s. My stupid brother is 67. I was a registered dem. until they ran Docockus. For the first time in my life I voted a strait ticket—Republican! I have since always registered as a rep. but I have never voted a strait ticket since. Since then I have voted for the lessor of two evils because that has been the choices. All the other parties do is take away votes from one or the other of the main two. Thats how we got sex offender clinkton. Gotta get off this my blood pressure is going up and my collar is smokeing. But one more thing. If a dummy like me can fifgger it out anybody can. Vote them all out. Call them up from multiple phones day and night and tell them they are dung balls.
If American citizens would stop looking the other way when elected officials are caught stealing, things would change. Members of a jury who go along to get along have caused the crime wave among electeds that we are all paying for now! Catch ‘em; jail ‘em, and burn ‘em with maximum jail sentences and fines: they have betrayed a public trust!
Dixon will keep her $ 83,000 annual pension.
It is now 48 days and counting, until SCOTUS hears arguments in McDonald v. Chicago.

this has been playing out ever since this nation was formed.all polititions are above the law,just like 90%percent of law enforcement in this country who lie and kill indiscriminatly and get away with dirty dealings.polititions are like most laws,cut from the same cloth!dirty underhanded snakes.sick!
