Salina, Kan - -(AmmoLand.com)- Kansas Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever will hold its 2010 State Habitat Meeting on Saturday, February 6th at the Ramada Inn in Salina, Kansas.

The event is filled with seminars covering land management, bird dogs and upland hunting.

The meeting will conclude with the Kansas Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever State Banquet at 6:30PM.

The Kansas Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever 2010 State Habitat Meeting will offer seminars throughout the day, including:

  • Conservation Reserve Program Maintenance and Management
  • Natural Resources Conservation Service Landowner Help Desk
  • Hunting Dog Health and Care
  • Estate Planning Help Desk
  • Hunting Tips & Wild Game Cooking

“Upland hunting continues to grow in Kansas, and that can be attributed to the work Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever do,” said Jordan Martincich, Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever regional representative in eastern Kansas.”We have an excellent arrangement of seminars at this year’s banquet and we encourage anyone interested to come and see what it means to be a part of this organization. The 42 Pheasants Forever chapters, 9 Quail Forever chapters and 5,300 members of “The Habitat Organization” totaled over 500 wildlife habitat projects in 2009, benefitting pheasants, quail and other wildlife on 31,700-plus acres.
