BOGgear LLC Introduces the TAC Series of BOG-POD Tripods

Fredericksburg, TX –-(AmmoLand.com)- BOGgear, designers and manufacturers of the most user-friendly, modern shooting platforms available to sportsmen today, proudly announces the new addition to their BOG-POD® tripods: the TAC Series.
The TAC Series is available in two models: the TAC-3, a tall tripod, and the TAC-3S, a short tripod and the only tripod of its kind on the market today that is designed for the prone shooting position.
The TAC Series of tripods are completely matte black with gray detailing such as inch markers on the legs for precision leveling of the lightweight aluminum legs. Featuring BOGgear’s own Vel-Coat™ finish on the top tubes to cut glare and reduce noise, all the while, adding grip-a-bility. The TAC Series is one of the quietest shooting platforms made for sportsmen, law enforcement or competitors. The Rapid-Adjust Lever Locks make adjusting to any height quick and quiet with noise-reducing rubber ring guards. An “all-terrain” foot system keeps the legs stable on any surface.
The TAC-3 tripod has a usable height range from 22” to 68” and the overall length of the TAC-3 is just 31” (including rest) when completely collapsed and ready to carry. It can be quickly set up and used in standing, kneeling or sitting positions.
The TAC-3S has a usable height range from 6” to 40” and is only 22” (including rest) when collapsed and together for carrying.
The TAC-3S can be used in kneeling, sitting and in prone positions (when all legs are fully retracted). All TAC Series tripods come with Allen wrenches for the lever lock and USR™ adjustments.
