Warrensville Heights, OH –-(AmmoLand.com)- Pyramyd Air, the world’s largest mail-order airgun retailer, is debuting the Air Venturi Bronco. Designed by Tom Gaylord in conjunction with Pyramyd Air Sales Director Paul Milkovich, the Bronco is destined to become a classic.

Gaylord was partly inspired by the Beeman C1 rifle, which is no longer made. The Bronco has a stock similar in dimensions and style to the C1, but the wood has a blonde finish. Sized for teens and adults, the rifle is easy to cock, has a 12.75″ length of pull and a crisp two-stage trigger. Ideally suited for shooting tin cans, paper targets and swingers, the Bronco is available in .177 caliber and delivers 500 fps. Its modest 19-lb. cocking effort and its light weight mean that shooters can use the gun for hours without growing weary.

Airgunners who fondly remember the “good old days,” when airguns were lower powered, will gravitate toward this gun. In the Pyramyd Air daily airgun blog, Gaylord mentions that he got some inspiration from the Diana 27, which is also no longer made, but has a great following and is highly sought after on the used market.

The Air Venturi Bronco has been well-received by airgunners. While there are other guns with some of the Bronco’s attributes, none have all of them. The Bronco is sized for teens and can be used for training young shooters. However, adults can easily shoulder and shoot the Bronco, so sales to a larger demographic are expected.
