Col. Tom Kelly's Book "Infirm Opinions"
Nashville, Tenn - -(AmmoLand.com)- Col. Tom Kelly, the “Poet Laureate of Wild Turkey Literature,” will be signing copies of his new book, “Infirm Opinions” during the National Wild Turkey Federation’s National Convention and Sport Show in Nashville, Tenn.
Visit the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center Feb. 19 to Feb. 21 to visit Kelly in booth 139 on the exhibit hall floor. While there, browse more than 550 booths of outdoor gear – just in time for the spring turkey hunting season.
Kelly, who is still going strong at age 82, was named the NWTF’s 2009 Communicator of the Year and authors the humorous “Short Spurs” column in “Turkey Country” magazine. He’ll offer special deals and also sign and personalize copies of all his books, including many first editions in booth 139.
Buy “Infirm Opinions” and get a special, free DVD titled “Fan Club.” Produced by Ronnie “Cuz” Strickland, vice president of Mossy Oak Productions, “Fan Club” follows two wise old turkey hunters – Kelly and Strickland – as they learn about fanning, a great technique to bring in hung-up gobblers.
Bring unsigned copies of Kelly’s books to the NWTF’s autograph booth Friday, Feb. 19 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. to visit with Kelly and Strickland. Daily exhibit hall passes cost just $12 for adults, or $25 for a three-day pass. Children age 10 and under are admitted free.
