Pro Shooter Max Michel Breaks Records At US National Steel Championship

World Champion Shoot Max Michel wears the Revision Sawfly Eyewear System in competition and in training.
Essex Junction, VT --(AmmoLand.com)- Max Michel, champion shooter for Revision Eyewear, shattered the US National Steel Championship match record with a 78.02 score and finished second place at the 2010 championship, held in Titusville, FL, from March 24th through to the 29th.
Michel was behind by 2 seconds going into the final stage of the competition and broke the “Outer Limits” record clocking in at 11.11 seconds. Max bested a second record during the “Pendulum” stage, shooting in 9.29 seconds. He earned second place overall, only .01 seconds behind west coast shooter K.C. Eusebio. Max Michel and Eusebio both shattered the old Open Division match record score of 80.09, set in 2007.
