Rockcastle Shooting Center Hosts Sabre Defence BRM3G Championship
Park City, KY –-(AmmoLand.com)- Rockcastle Shooting Center at Park Mammoth Resort will host the NRA sanctioned event April 23 – 25, 2010 with stages set and designed by Andy Horner.
The Sabre Defence Blue Ridge Mountain 3-Gun event’s permanent home was selected as one of five tournament series locations where FNH USA “3-Gun Nation” will hold qualifying events which will be filmed and aired on “3-Gun Nation”, a new television show, hosted by Mark Wills and Chad Adams.
Nick Noble, General Manager of Rockcastle Shooting Center said, “We’re honored Rockcastle Shooting Center was chosen as one of the locations for “3-Gun Nation” and accordingly, we’ve planned an exciting weekend of events. With the growing interest in multi gun events, the NRA will set up a timed stage so the general public can shoot all three firearms, supplied by Ruger and Remington to experience the same adrenaline rush and excitement a competitor faces.”

“We are also thrilled with the response to this match. With over 230 competitors from 43 states on hand to compete for $250,000 in prizes this will be the second largest 3-Gun prize table this year. Additionally, Nashville Recording Artist Mark Wills is scheduled to provide a private concert for invited guests with proceeds donated to the Wounded Warrior Project.”
“We’ve invited 4-H shooting sport members from five counties in Kentucky, volunteering to pick up brass after a stage is shot. Competitors will provide shooting advice and tip the club members to raise funds for their clubs. Rockcastle Shooting Center’s pistol bays and tactical shooting ranges were specifically created and designed to engage competitors in dynamic settings, backdrops and surrounding terrain that will test their defensive shooting skills and agility this year.”
Rockcastle Shooting Center is located in south-central Kentucky nestled among the wooded ridges and valleys of the historic Park Mammoth Resort in Park City, KY. The 2000 acre resort features a 100 guest room lodge, restaurant and conference center, indoor heated pool, scenic nature trails, 27 holes of regulation golf and an all encompassing shooting center meeting the needs for all sporting clay, pistol and rifle shooting enthusiasts.
