Sharron Angle The Best Choice For Nevada Gun Owners and The Country
Opponent supported by anti-gun group in 2006.
Nevada --(Ammoland.com)-The Nevada Republican primary race for the U.S. Senate continues to shift dramatically.
A brand new poll by the Suffolk University Political Research Center now shows pro-gun Sharon Angle, who is endorsed by Gun Owners of America Political Victory Fund, in first place with 33 percent, followed by Danny Tarkanian at 26 percent and Sue Lowden at 25 percent.
The three are battling it out for the right to take on Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid in November.
Reid’s anti-Second Amendment antics are well known. In the past year, he forced ObamaCare through the Senate, along with a slew of anti-gun Obama nominees.
But one of the Republican candidates is not without Second Amendment problems of his own. Less than four years ago, when he ran for Secretary of State, Danny Tarkanian received a glowing endorsement from a leading anti-gun group.
“I’m asking you to vote for Danny Tarkanian,” said Sarah Brady, President of the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence, in a radio ad. “He supports common sense gun laws like a ban on military-style assault weapons.”
Brady was referring to Tarkanian’s support of ban on many types of common semi-automatic rifles owned by millions of Americans.

GOA – Do your research. Tarkanian is 100% pro 2nd ammendment.
David Codrea of the Gun Rights Examiners supports Tarkanian.
Tarkanaina had a volunteer working on his campaign in 2006 by the name of Dan Burdish. Burdish was the former Exec. Dorector of the Nevada GOP and had many connections. Burdish used those connections (without Tarkanian’s knowledge) to get the Brady endorsement 4 days before the election. That was why Tarkanain’s rating was dropped to an F. So close to the election – it was to close to correct the issue. Dan Burdish in the Washington Times in December admitted Tarkanain knew nothing about it. The story is believe to have gotten to the Wash Time via Sue Lowden’s camp. Oh, and by the way, Sue Lowden’s paid political director is none other than Burdish. Danny favors NO ban on any weapon.
If the phoney NRA supports Tarkanian then I support Angle.
The NRA also endorsed traitor McCain.
In Illinois they allowed HB5832 to pass without a challenge a bill that mandates 1-3 yrs in prison for not having a valid FOID card.
They should be working to Repeal the FOID card not strengthen it!!!
In 1968 in the NRA publication the American Rifleman the NRA said they were created to support reasonable gun control legislation.
Maybe we need to ask the NRA what part of “SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED THEY DON’T UNDERSTAND”
The NRA is supporting Harry Reid in this race.
If the NRA is supporting Harry Reid in this race I want to know what their smoking at the NRA!
David I know you check your sources so I believe the info you put out, but Harry Reid?
No wonder we can’t repeal gun control laws!
I believe every NRA member needs to rethink their support for the NRA
[...] a rookery for coots and kooks to express their frustration and fears in the form of xenophobia, guns rights and conspiracy [...]
I believe the NRA is giving a nod (if they are) to Reid for the recent landmark building of a shooting range facility in Nevada. This facility was public funded and Reid was the reason it was built. He allocated the funding and grounds in making it happen.
Do I endorse Reid H*** NO for he may appear to understand the 2nd A. rights he does little to fully protect them. I won’t go into the other extremely big government and liberal socialist concepts he supports. Reid has to leave political office; he does not support the people he was elected to represent. In fact if you ever have received a letter after you have sent them a request for action on your part from Reid, Boxer, Feinstein or Pelosi you will see the same words over and over. They will first dispute your request by stating that their findings or views are such and such and they believe their agenda is best for their constituents. Not once have I ever received a letter stating I will consider your request and use it to determine the best choices for our constituents. It is always about them and they all have to go…
Well, Tark and Lowden are out and it’s Angle and Reid. Here’s the way I see the choices:

Maybe the NRA is supporting Reid because of the exemption From the Disclose Act (H.R. 5175).
