ACCOKEEK, MD –-(Ammoland.com)- Beretta U.S.A. announced today that it has reduced the price of its popular polymer pistol – the Beretta Px4 Storm. The Px4 Storm is now available for about $500.

Since it was first launched in 2003, the Px4 has been a recognized for its superior technological features and its myriad of customization options. It is available in two operating systems, and three calibers (9mm, .40 S&W and .45 ACP).

One of the first pistols to be adaptable to hand size with interchangeable back straps and with a unique, recoil absorbing, rotary barrel design, the Px4 is available in full size, compact and sub-compact models.

“Because the Px4 Storm is available in so many models, it’s ideal for a wide range of use- from home protection to concealed carry to target shooting,” said Ryan Muety, Director of Marketing and Consumer Direct at Beretta U.S. A. “This pistol has always had a great price per value story, and now we’re able to offer it at an even lower price.”

According to Gabriele de Plano, Vice President of Tactical Marketing at Beretta U.S.A. the Px4 Storm surpasses the performance of the legendary Beretta 92 model and the military version, the Beretta M9. Because of this technology the Px4 Storm is noted for its reliability, durability and accuracy. It also uses the exclusive Beretta designed locked-breech with a rotating barrel system, the strongest action to date.

CONSIDERING BUYING A BERETTA PX4 SUB COMPACT. IS IT ACCURATE? IS IT TOO LARGE FOR “POCKET CARRY?THOUGHT THE 9MM WOULD BE ENOUGH FOR CLOSE QUARTER DEFENSE. I HAVE A GLOCK 27 IN 40 CAL….IT IS TOO BIG FOR POCKET CARRY…THANKS

LK

Shot a water bottle on first shot from 50′ with a PX4 45. No problems with accuracy on full size, can’t comment on compact, as I haven’t shot one in that size.

Have been searching for the storm in 45 and all pricing well above 500 dollars. Now reading reviews about accuracy with standard sights have also searched after market replacements are not really avaible. Only suggestion is go to laser, do not want laser anything else avaible?

I also purchased about 2 years ago a full size PX4 Storm. It has to be one of the most reliable semi-auto pistals on the market today. With over 400 rounds fired through this gun with a large variety of 9mm ammo I have experienced not one problem with its function. However I must agree with Randy on the accuracy of the firearm which is poor to say the least. After purchacing and installing a lasor, only then did I achieve nice groups.Dont get smug with me like you did with Randy by saying I need lessons in shooting this firearm because I have well… Read more »

Have to agree with Gary. I can hit pretty tight groups with my Taurus 9mm, but horrible groups if you can call them groups with my PX4 compact at the distances. Talked with Beretta and was told that the Storm is set up with combat sights and makes it prone to shooting low. I can be at 8 yards bench rested and it misses the entire target. No flinching and carefully squeezing the trigger with the tip of my index finger. Only pistol that I have had trouble shooting accurately. Trading in soon.

I PURCHASED A PX4STORM ABOUT TWO YEARS AGO AFTER HEARING WHAT A GREAT PISTOL IT WAS.I WANTED A GOOG RELIABLE PISTOL THAT I COULD DEPEND ON.After getting out and firing the pistol I was very disappointed in the accuracy of the gun.Everyone told me that you have to shoot a few rounds through amost pistols before you could get positive groups.I’m no competention shooter by no means but i would think that when you fire two 50 round boxes of shells through the gun and you are standing only 7 yards away you should be able to group pretty well.… Read more »

I suggest that you get some lessons from a qualified NRA instructor before you shoot your foot off.

Just a thought…

You can give it to me….seriously, would you consider selling it at a discount? BTW, which size is it? Full-size, Compact or Subcompact? You’d get it off your hands, be able to purchase the pistol you probably have your sights on (pun intended), and I’d get the pistol I’ve been wanting for some time now = WIN-WIN!!!
