FORT BENNING, Ga. –-(Ammoland.com)- A fourth different Soldier from the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit won the day’s individual championship on day four of the 51st Interservice Pistol Championships.

Staff Sgt. Lyman Grover took home first place in the service pistol category with a score of 873-27x. He was followed by USAMU teammates Sgt. 1st Class James Henderson with an 870-39x and Staff Sgt. John Ennis with an 867-31x.

In the team match, U.S. Army Grey pulled out their first win of the week. Team members were Ennis, Staff Sgt. Timothy Barber, Staff Sgt. Adam Sokolowski, Sgt. Patrick Franks, and Sgt. 1st Class Damon Baxter, all from the USAMU. Their counterparts on the U.S. Army Blue team took second.

Today’s Excellence-in-Competition match concludes the competition. An awards banquet tonight will honor the week’s winners and crown the 2010 overall individual and team champions for 2010.
