Since the first Steel Challenge in 1981, the World Speed Shooting Championships has grown into the premier exhibition of speed shooting in the world. The event routinely draws the fastest shooters from around the globe, as well as strong corporate support from the firearms industry.

Organized by the Steel Challenge Shooting Association (SCSA), the 2010 Steel Challenge World Speed Shooting Championships will take place August 19 through 22 in Piru, California.
