Pro Shooter Max Michel Wins Seventh Consecutive USPSA Area Match For 2010 Competitive Season

World champion shooter Max Michel wears the Revision Sawfly Eyewear System in competition and in training.
Essex Junction, VT --(Ammoland.com)- Max Michel, champion shooter for Revision Eyewear, won his seventh United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA) Area Championship for the 2010 competitive season in his bid to become the first pro shooter in history to win all eight in a single year.
Michel won the Open Division title at the Area 8 Championships, held in Fredericksburg, VA on August 26th – 29th, 2010 against a field of 75 division competitors with a score of 1067.5632, or 100%. Over 275 shooters competed in ten challenging stages.
“Alan [the Match Director] and his staff at the Area 8 Championship did a great job of challenging the competitors and making it fun as well,” commented Michel. “I can honestly say this was the best competition I have faced all season and I had a blast with the folks in my squad. I look forward to going for my “8 for 8″ in the same year at the next Area Championship in November.”
Michel’s next competition is the 2010 US IPSC National Championship (World Shoot Qualifier) at the Mid-Carolina Rifle Club near Columbia, SC on October 1st – 2nd, 2010.
