Montie Design Releases The Montie Gear 2011 Product Catalog
Popularity of Shooting-Oriented Accessories Launches New Line of Outdoor Equipment

Montie Design X-Rest
Morrisville, NC --(Ammoland.com)- Collaborative product design and development firm Montie Design has released the Montie Gear 2011 Product Catalog featuring popular state-of-the-art shooting-oriented accessories such as the X-Rest portable shooting rest.
Manufactured entirely in the U.S.A., Montie Gear is designed with the shooter in mind using sturdy, hi-test lightweight metal alloys, easy-to-carry for hikers and outdoor enthusiasts of any age or athletic ability.
“We say that Montie Gear is ‘Hierloom Quality, Troublesome Gap Tough’ meaning it’s equipment that customers can keep around for a long time and pass down through generations,” Montie Roland, company president, said.
Troublesome Gap is a remote mountain pass near Spring Creek, North Carolina providing a rugged and remote location for the Montie Design staff to test its products, ensuring the equipment is tough enough to use in the roughest outdoor environments.
The X-Rest originated as a hands-on, intensive review of product design and manufacturing for Montie Design staff, eventually being released as a standalone product in May of 2009. Since then, enthusiastic industry reviews of the X-Rest, AR-Rest, Tree Rest, and Precision Rest products and strong word-of-mouth buzz among customers prompted Roland and his staff to conceptualize an entire product line of outdoor equipment, with the shooting-oriented rifle and pistol rests as its core.
“The feedback we’ve been receiving from customers and industry experts testing our products has been so overwhelmingly positive, we’ve decided to put them together to form a brand new product line,” Roland said, adding that plans call for expanding the line to include clothing, camping tools and other outdoor accessories.
The Montie Gear catalog provides detailed information on all existing products along with an easy-to-use order form. It’s available for viewing and download on the Montie Design website, www.montie.com/catalog.pdf.
