Ronkonkoma, NY –-(Ammoland.com)- Long Island Firearms has announced that they are holding their second Blood Drive on Friday, February 25th, 2011 at the VFW Hall at 51 Juniper Ave in Smithtown, New York, between the hours of 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.

As with their last drive, which resulted in 37 pints collected, LIF will work with the New York Blood Center to help meet the needs of the members of their community.

“I was surprised how many of our members have already donated several gallons of their own blood to save lives,” said Steven Blair, the club’s president and founder.

“I wasn’t surprised however, with the tremendous outpouring of concern by our members. They have demonstrated time and again that we are a close knit and caring community of firearms enthusiasts, interested in preserving our civil rights, while extending a helping hand to our community.”

He went on to add, “Our last Blood Drive was so successful, we saw it as a challenge to collect even more this February.”
