Decriminalize Gun Owners

Kennesaw, Georgia –-(Ammoland.com)- Fingerprint databases. Statist licensing schemes. Hefty fees. The never-ending bureaucratic application process.

Sometimes it seems the roadblocks anti-gun activists and their political allies have thrown up to discourage Citizens from carrying a firearm are endless.

Well, guess what? They meant it that way.

The gun-grabbers know good and well criminals don’t ask for permission to legally carry a firearm.

Their overbearing and UNCONSTITUTIONAL “regulations” and “requirements” are meant to do nothing more than undermine the Second Amendment rights of citizens just like you.

I don’t know about you, but I think it’s time Georgia Second Amendment supporters said “Enough is enough!”

Let me tell you about Georgia Gun Owners.

You see, The Georgia Constitutional Carry/REAL Right-to-Carry Act is about to be introduced in the legislature.

As you know, if passed, The Georgia Constitutional Carry/REAL Right-to-Carry Act would restore the right of Georgians to carry a gun to protect themselves and their families — WITHOUT going through a bunch of bureaucratic rigmarole!

In short, if you own a firearm, you’re able to carry it. Period.

This is the way it’s done in Alaska, Arizona and Vermont — and most of Idaho and Montana.

And despite the hand-wringing of the gun-grabbers, the news media and government bureaucrats, those states have not seen a rise in shootouts and vigilante justice since passing Constitutional Carry/REAL Right-to-Carry.

I know you’re not surprised.

After all, career criminals know that attacking a “victim” armed with a concealed firearm often results in early “retirement!”

The good news is, with your IMMEDIATE action, I’m hopeful we could pass The Georgia Constitutional Carry/REAL Right-to-Carry Act in Georgia this year!

But even if The Georgia Constitutional Carry/REAL Right-to-Carry Act is defeated, just getting a vote would be a win/win situation.

You see, if Georgia’s state legislators want to vote to KILL The Georgia Constitutional Carry/REAL Right-to-Carry Act, they’ll pay the political price when faced with reelection.

That’s why anti-gun activists and their allies in BOTH political parties will use every legislative trick in the book to try and defeat The Georgia Constitutional Carry/REAL Right-to-Carry Act quietly behind the scenes.

After all, the last thing anti-gun politicians want is to have their views on our gun rights EXPOSED before Georgia’s Second Amendment supporters!

That’s why you’re IMMEDIATE action is so important. Please consider joining Georgia Gun Owners.

With your membership, I’ll be able to mobilize even more Georgia Second Amendment supporters to send a loud and clear message to state legislators — “HANDS OFF OUR GUN RIGHTS!”

Using mail, e-mail and a massive telephone campaign, my goal is to mobilize a grassroots army of 100,000 Georgia gun owners.

When your voice is heard, the State Legislature will know they have no choice but to take action on The Georgia Constitutional Carry/REAL Right-to-Carry Act.

But it won’t happen without your help.  So won’t you agree to a join Georgia Gun Owners — TODAY?

I know these are tough times for many folks out there, but after seeing assault after assault on our God-given liberties at seemingly every level of government these past few years, I hope you agree it’s time to FIGHT BACK.

Like our Founding Fathers and like you, I don’t believe we should have to beg permission from government officials or pay a “fee” just to exercise our God-given, inalienable rights.

So I’m going to do everything I can to END the gun-grabbers’ infringement on our right to self defense by passing Constitutional Carry/REAL Right-to-Carry in Georgia.

I hope you’ll join me.

Please act TODAY!

For liberty,
Patrick Parsons
Executive Director

The question everyone should be asking is, how come all these pro-gun groups in Georgia, after all these years, haven't already passed, or at least fought to pass, a constitutional carry bill. What could be more pro-gun then constitutional carry? Here's how I look at it. This Georgia Gun Owners group has a legit phone number posted on their website. You can even call it and find out yourself. Plus, I personally like the emails, and they say they're finally going to give second amendment supporters like me what we've been waiting for all these years… … and that's a… Read more »

I have yet to hear anything productive from this alleged group besides a single member asking for money. Where are the details? These certainly aren't bad ideas, but… where's the beef?

Thomas

I joined up last week. I called and talked to the dude.

I hate lobbyists.

I'm all for Constitutional Carry.

GaShooter

As the comment says above, what is the bill number? If it's still being drafted who is doing that and who will be introducing it? Are there co-sponsors? Can you please post a draft of the current wording of the bill?

How many lobbyists is GeorgiaGunOwners.org sending to this session of the GA?

It's bad form to ask for money to help support a non-existent bill.

So this "The Georgia Constitutional Carry/REAL Right-to-Carry Act" that you say is being introduced…. I have some questions.

What is the bill number?

WHO (the specific legislator) is sponsoring this "act"?

Where can we read the entirety of the document?

My research of GeorgiaGunOwners.org has shown a whole lot of asking folks for money, but little in the way of actual legislation. Lots of buzzwords and hyperbole but so far no substance.

No offense but I'll stick to Georgia Carry who actually introduce BILLS and has exhibited positive results in getting laws changed.
