MANDEVILLE, LA --( As gun makers head to the SHOT Show to announce their new products, several stop in to give listeners of Tom Gresham’s Gun Talk (R) Radio advanced notice of the new goodies.

Gun Talk is the only nationally-syndicated radio talk show about guns and the shooting sports.

Jeff Macaluso, Director of Field Sports & New Media Programming and Production on the VERSUS Network, talks with Tom about the future of outdoor shows on VERSUS and the expanding lineup of outdoor programming on this national cable channel. The new Gun Talk Television series on VERSUS is the latest of several shooting shows on that network.

Gaston Glock didn’t know as much about firearm design as he did about synthetic polymers, but with that knowledge he designed a pistol that is now used by 65 percent of U.S. Law Enforcement agencies, and by a significant number of armed forces and security agencies. Corey Jones with Glock comes on Gun Talk to discuss what makes Glock such a popular pistol and what consumers can expect to see in 2011, including a special offering celebrating 25 years of Glock in the U.S..

Being able to acquire your target, especially in low-light situations, is one of the determining factors to the accuracy of the shot. Dave Biggers drops in to talk about using XS Sights, and the new mounting rail that the company has for the just-introduced Ruger-Gunsite Scout Rifle.
