ATF Project Gunrunner Scandal Getting Worse and Worse
Colorado -–(Ammoland.com)- If you’re not familiar with the term already, it’s a name every gun owner and freedom-lover should know.
Under the “Gunwalker” program the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE) has been knowingly funneling American guns into Mexico.
To make matters worse, one of those guns was used by a Mexican drug runner to kill a United States Border Patrol Agent.
I need you to take action today and ask Speaker of the House John Boehner, to demand the ATF be held accountable for their abuse of the law.
The BATFE’s negligence and their obsession with pursuing their anti-gun political agenda cost the life of an American law enforcement officer.
It’s simply outrageous.
The details of the scandal are straight forward:
- The ATF wanted to track the number of guns going into Mexico, to pad their anti-gun stats.
- The ATF forced gun dealers – against the dealers’ better judgment – to sell weapons to prohibited individuals with known connections to gun-smuggling operations.
- ATF officials then forced their agents to allow these questionable characters to walk across the border with their newly-purchased firearms without being stopped for the purposes of “tracking” these same firearms.
- A Federal agent is then murdered by some of the same weapons that were allowed to be trafficked into Mexico.
- ATF agents who were on the ground then came forward to testify against this disastrous project, but were blacklisted by senior ATF and Justice Department officials.
To top it off, this comes while ATF press releases continue to spread the flat-out lie that over 80% of all the guns used in Mexico’s drug war come from the United States.
And now, officials all the way up to the Obama White House are denying any knowledge of an operation that would have clearly needed high-level approval.
I don’t believe for a second that a project such as this one didn’t have to be signed off by a big wig.
The ATF has simply ignored Congressional requests for documentation of their operation. It has even come to the point where ATF leaders are being subpoenaed by Congressional committees.
And yet, they continue to flaunt their obvious contempt for the rule of law. Unless it’s their “rules” and their distorted “laws”, of course.
Like you, I believe this has gone on long enough. Unfortunately, I’m virtually certain it’s going to get worse.
As I’ve told you in the past, the ATF will continue to spin this story into an opportunity to beg Congress for more authority and more tax payer dollars by claiming that if they had enough money and authority, situations like this would not occur.
It’s times like these that I don’t want to be right. But the only way to avoid that outcome is for you to take action.
As the saying goes, there’s strength in numbers.
This rings especially true when talking about the power-hungry Obamacrats in Washington. I need more people like you who are willing to stand up and say “enough is enough.”
To make that happen, I need you to help me out. Both you and I know that the bigger we are, the faster our “employees” in Washington will listen.
Bureaucracies like the ATF will continue to disregard that fact – that they work for us – until an organization is so big and so loud that it simply cannot be ignored.
The National Association for Gun Rights intends to be that very organization.
Far too few members of our House and Senate have spoken up on behalf of their constituents on this subject. They have forgotten who they work for, apparently.
You and I need to hold their feet to the fire.
Send an letter to Speaker of the House John Boehner demanding he hold the ATF accountable for their actions.
Thank you, in advance, for taking the time to support the fight for our Second Amendment right.
For Liberty,Dudley Brown

P.S. Don’t let the lack of coverage in the media fool you into thinking Project Gunrunner isn’t a big story! If the ATF gets its way, they will gain more power and be vindicated in their abuse of the law. Help us make sure they get held accountable for their deplorable actions!

Eric Cantor 202-225-2815
Folks, ring these numbers night and day, hound them all the way until Congressional hearings are actually under way.
You’ve skipped some VERY important points!
(1) Jaime Zapata – ICE Agent – was also killed with a “gunwalker” gun.
(2) Dealers were working as “confidential informants”. Some buyers were also C.I.s. Some SMUGGLERS were C.I.s – all this is documented in (bits spread throughout) various ATF press-releases. THIS MEANS IT’S LIKELY ATF WAS ACTIVELY SMUGGLING – not just “letting them walk.”
(3) All of this was not only hidden from the Mex.Gov, not only hidden from EVERY US AGENT IN MEXICO, but our agents in Mexico were even blocked from tracing the “gunwalker” guns WHEN THEY FOUND THEM!
Tell me: How does one “make a case against the cartels” when everyone who might be able to MAKE such a case is kept in the dark??!!
(4) The REAL “American source” of most of the guns is MILITARY. We gave arms to the Mex.gov – soldiers desert and take them with them. We gave MILLIONS of M-16s to Panama, Nicaragua, El-Salvador, Etc. – these are now ending up in Mexico as well. Of course *WE* know you can’t buy full-auto (or grenades/launchers/RPGs etc) at gun-shows, but the average sheeple does not!
(5) Prior to “Gunwalker” being exposed, they STARTED with their TRUE agenda — they “leaked” info to WaPo, resulting in a series of articles smearing the dealers who sold the guns — the very dealers working as informants for the ATF! They tried to blame the dealers for following ATF orders, in order to justify running them out of business!
Bottom line is that this was nothing more or less than a cynical, murderous attempt to create piles of bloody mexican bodies to justify further infringements of the rights of American Citizens!
In short, this is TREASON!
The only question is “how high/how broad does the treason GO??!!”
ATF==DOJ. No bureaucrat would risk being blamed without coverage from “upstairs” – meaning Eric “My People” Holder!
It was a foreign country – hence State Dept. *HAD* to be involved! No bureaucrat would risk being blamed — hence it *HAD* to involve ‘Da Hildabeast!
It involved the border – hence DHS – and thus “Big Sis”, Janet (“Incompetano”) Napolitano!
What are the odds of Holder, ‘Da Hildabeast and Big-Sis meeting to plan something like this without Dear Reader – Chairman MaoBama himself – being at the table? After all, this is all in support of a key goal of the Demmunists – further erosion of our 2A rights!
This was a plot, at the highest levels of our Government, to enable the murder of foreign nationals and US Citizens and Agents, to “justify” infringing that which our Constitution says “shall not be infringed!”
In a word – TREASON!
Those responsible should receive the proper penalty for their crimes – following a fair trial, of course!
We The People MUST NOT REST until these cockroaches are run out of every last crevice, and every last dirty detail has been exposed!
