Illinois –-(Ammoland.com)- Supporters of Right to Carry legislation in Illinois welcome the new support of the Illinois Association of Chiefs of Police.

Leadership from the organization voted this past week to add their support to Right to Carry bill HB148. Current text in the bill is considered a place holder for new text which is expected to be amended into the bill in the next few weeks.

HB148 now has the support of the Chiefs association, the Illinois Sheriffs Association, and the Chicago Police Department’s Sheriff’s Union.
