LOS OSOS, Calif. --(Ammoland.com)- Team Smith & Wesson’s Annette Aysen held off the captain of the Smith & Wesson shooting team, Julie Golob, to claim her fourth consecutive Women’s Limited division title this weekend at the 20th Annual Smith & Wesson International Revolver Championship in San Luis Obispo, Calif.

The Thibodaux, La. shooter won eight of 14 stages in the women’s match but found herself fending off Golob who took the lead from Aysen twice in the match.

Last year Golob won the Women’s Open title but switched to Limited division competition this year.

Ultimately Aysen won the title, again, with a final time of 368.29 seconds. Golob finished 20.51 seconds behind Aysen in second place with two stage wins and a time of 388.80.

“This was a close match pitting two of the top women revolver shooters in the country against each other. The last minute decision by Julie to switch to the Limited contest certainly put added pressure on Annette, but she managed to put in another strong, winning performance to take her fourth straight title,” said Ron Joslin of ICORE.
