Wisconsin – -(Ammoland.com)- Wisconsin, with Illinois the only two states in the country without ANY concealed carry law, has finally passed a CCW bill and sent it to Republican Governor Walker for his signature.

The governor has said he will sign the bill. (Previous Democrat Governor Jim Doyle vetoed two previous versions of the bill.)

SB 90 passed the state Senate two weeks ago; AB 136 passed the Assembly yesterday, both with bi-partisan majorities. The bill will take effect in October or November, depending on when the governor signs it.

The bill contains provision to recognize out-of-state CWPs, provided a background check is required and training. There should be no problem with Florida’s CWP being recognized.
