911 Ten Years Later – This Week On Gun Talk Radio
MANDEVILLE, LA --(Ammoland.com)- A special 9/11 edition of Tom Gresham’s Gun Talk radio this Sunday shares stories from the attacks and outlines plans each person can put into place to protect himself and his family in the event of future attacks.
One story which has never been told involves NYPD officers who were buried in the debris of the fallen towers, and how they were saved by shots fired from a 9mm pistol. One of those officers, John Tucci, joins host Tom Gresham with the first-person account that will leave listeners stunned.
Noted trainer, competitive shooter and author Massad Ayoob visits with Gresham to examine how the televised mass murder in New York changed the attitudes of millions of Americans who decided to take responsibility for their own safety.
Greg Lapin of VATA Group (www.vatagroup.net) was working security in the New York area and watched the planes hit the towers. As a top security and firearms trainer of both civilians and top - tier military personnel, Lapin has thoughts about what each of us can do to increase our safety – whether it involves firearms or not.
Survival expert and creator of Equipped To Survive (www.equipped.com) Doug Ritter outlines the simple items each person should always carry to improve the odds of survival in any catastrophe — natural or man-made.
“While the tenth anniversary of the attacks of September 11, 2001 is a time for reflection,” said host Tom Gresham,
“I also choose to use this date as an opportunity to perform a review of safety procedures, and for each of us to rededicate ourselves to being alert, aware, and prepared.”
