San Diego, Calif. –-(Ammoland.com)- FMG Publications announces the 2012 Shooting Industry Masters will be returning to south central Kentucky and the Rockcastle Shooting Center.

“The overwhelming reception we received from everybody in Kentucky, combined with ear-to-ear grins and positive feedback from this year’s match participants, made the decision to return to Rockcastle much easier,” said Randy Molde, Masters chairman.

“Besides, I missed out on this year’s cave shoot, and I plan to be first in line for the 2012 event.”

The 10th Annual Shooting Industry Masters will be held July 20-21, 2012, at the Rockcastle Shooting Center, Park Mammoth Resort, in Park City, Ky.

“It’s with great pride that the Rockcastle Shooting Center welcomes back the Shooting Industry Masters,” said Nick Noble, CEO and cofounder, Rockcastle Shooting Center.

“Kentucky will once again roll out the red carpet for the shooting industry, and we consider this opportunity a great honor. We would like to thank FMG for recognizing our shooting sports resort as the perfect location to host this prestigious event.”

The 2012 Masters will again support National Shooting Sports Foundation’s First Shots program. The 2011 Masters drew a record-setting 370 shooters from 71 companies and organizations throughout the industry. The match raised $37,000 for First Shots, which brings the amount raised by the Masters for First Shots to $94,000 in three years.

“FMG is such a strong supporter of NSSF, including the First Shots program, a program that benefits everyone in the industry,” said Steve Sanetti, NSSF president.

“We’re very thankful for the support, because we couldn’t put this program together otherwise. We’re looking forward to the 2012 match, and we’d like to see everyone at the Masters next year: first, because it’s a lot of fun, and second, because the money raised will help us reach more new shooters through the First Shots program. Again, we thank FMG Publications for their ongoing support of NSSF and First Shots.”

The Masters is owned and operated by FMG Publications, publishers of GUNS Magazine, American Handgunner, American COP, Shooting Industry Magazine and eight special editions.
