Hello, i think that i saw you visited my site so i came to “return the favor”.I am attempting to find things to improve my web site!I suppose its ok to use a few of your ideas!!\

Texas law prohibits “open carry” with a few exceptions. You may carry a handgun openly on your own property/business, while “in the field” (hunting, etc.), and very few more instances.

I was surprised at this when I moved to Texas years ago. We are trying to change that, though.

One of my BIG concerns is that if open carry is legalized, it will be like Oklahoma, i.e., you must be licensed.

I would actually like to see Constitutional Carry, here and everywhere. Why in Hell should we require a state “permission slip” (with added taxes, of course) to exercise that which Shall Not Be Infringed?

The best thing to teach kids about guns and safety is to take them hunting while they are young and continue to do it until they become teenagers. This is for boy and girls. Hunting gives a kid confidence that just shooting at paper never does. It teaches them that guns are not toys and once you pull the trigger, you can’t take it back. In hunting, as in self defense, you kill for a reason, not just pleasure. Hunting is for food. Self defense is for protection. Kids who grew up hunting fare much better in combat, in the military, than ones who didn’t. Years of shooting, stalking, and tracking can’t be taught in boot camp and AIT in a few months. Making every shot count is ingrained into a country kid’s mind. There are very few second shots in hunting. If you miss, he is history. In combat, if you miss, you may be history.
