Plymouth, MA --(Ammoland.com)- Brite-Strike Technologies is the established innovator of tactical lighting solutions for police, military and civilian operators.

Brite-Strike now offers the Tactical Blue Dot flashlights to the hunting and outdoor markets for 2012.

The Tactical Blue Dot flashlight was designed by police officers for law enforcement and military operators. The Blue Dot model no. BD198-MH-2C has received a 4.62 score out of 5.00 from the Member Tested NTOA (National Tactical Officers Association). One handed simple operation make the Blue Dot flashlights ideal for the hunting and outdoor markets. Brite-Strike flashlights and other products will be available in brand new retail friendly packaging later this year.

The patented design of the Tactical Blue Dot lights embody the timeless elements that police officers and others need whose life may very well depend on their light. The Tactical Blue Dot was designed by two veteran police officers who wanted to keep the functions simple but effective. Part of this strategy involved designing a light that required only one hand to operate.

The body of the Tactical Blue Dot is CNC machined milled from a single billet of high grade aerospace aluminum. The proprietary black anodized finish exceeds Mil Spec class two type III. The unique tri-sided body is more ergonomic for better gripping. The front crenellated strike crown is blunted and the rear crown is more aggressive for maximum effectiveness in applying pressure point control techniques. The pocket clip is specifically designed to give officers a greater clearance for lightning fast draws from either a BDU pocket, duty belt or six pocket police pant. It also allows for quick mounting on a uniform epaulet and quick removal when needed. The beam is a brilliant white light with a wider “spread” that creates a flood effect, which illuminates the entire area of a vehicle on a motor vehicle stop.

The Tactical Touch Switch on the Tactical Blue Dot can be turned on or off and access any functions using a single finger or thumb on one hand. The patented Brite-Strike design of slightly recessing the switch within the rear crenellated crown protects the switch from damage and accidental activation. All Brite-Strike Blue Dot flashlights come with a life-time warranty.

Brite-Strike offers remote pressure switches that replace the tail cap on all Blue Dot models making these lights ideal for mounting on a tactical carbine or shotgun. Remote pressure switches are sold separately.
