I talked to Colt Firearms Manf. today and was told that the 901 was in fact already being shipped. They also said that after they leave the factory to the distribtor they have no control over who get them and who hoards them so as to inflate the price.
She stated Colt wish they did that they do not condone this type of business tactic. So all you sellers out there hoarding these rifles, shame on you and i hope it ends up bitting them in the a**

Looks like a nice rifle, but I do not understand why they would want to make a 7.62 with a 16 inch barrel, a 18 inch barrel would be a much better choice.

as a professional police officer, i own two colt ar-15′s – one is a target model , the other is my patrol carbine . the LE901-16S is the rifle that i’ve been looking for 7.62 to 5.56 MM converion from a sharp shooter to a combat defender now that’s a rifle . thank you colt. all i need now is a price range and a place to order .
