St. Cloud, MN –-(Ammoland.com)- DPMS Firearms, (“DPMS”), continuing their commitment to customer service, has responded to numerous customer requests for a lighter, enhanced version of the previous DPMS Squad Designated Marksman Rifle (“SDMR”).

The new TPR (Tactical Precision Rifle) is built for long-range accuracy and features a 20-inch, bead-blasted, 416 stainless steel heavy barrel (HBAR).

Other features include a M111 Modular Free-Float rail system, an AAC Blackout flash suppressor, B5 Systems – Special Operations Peculiar Modification (SOPMOD) stock, Magpul Original Equipment (MOE) grip and trigger guard.

The DPMS Tactical Precision Rifle combines long-range precision and tactical adaptability and is chambered in 5.56 NATO. Suggested retail is $1349.00.

About 1 yr. ago my brother ordered a 7.62×39 A-R rifle frrom them. He was yold it would take 60 days due to production delays. Six months later he had still not received the rifle and no explanation from DPMS. He cancelled the order and ordered it from Olympic Arms, rifle was in his hand in a month. Since being taken over by Remington , whos quality assurance is not what it once was, they semed to not care about customer relations. Wow, beautiful rifle. I don't have any experience with DPMS…perhaps that needs to change.
