NEWTOWN, Conn –-(Ammoland.com)- As part of NSSF’s broad efforts to enhance the services that benefit firearms retailers, the Foundation has had a long-standing commitment to help bring thieves of firearms to justice by offering a cash reward for the information leading to the arrests and conviction of those involved.
In recognition of this commitment, Special Agent in Charge Thomas G. Atteberry of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Phoenix Field Division sent a letter to Lawrence G. Keane, NSSF senior vice president and general counsel, thanking NSSF for its offer of a $5,000 reward for a theft of firearms that occurred last month from a pawnshop in San Tan Valley, Ariz.
