PHOENIX, AZ – -(Ammoland.com)- At the conclusion of last week’s initial meeting of the Sportsmen’s Constituent Group (working title at this point) on March 22, meeting attendees, those viewing the webcast, and others were offered the opportunity to volunteer to continue their participation in the group and move it forward.

If you are interested in participating in the group going forward, please send an e-mail to that effect to scgpartners@azgfd.gov. Please include your name, affiliation (if any), phone number and e-mail address. Future information, including an agenda on the next meeting, will be sent out as it becomes available.

The Sportsmen’s Constituent Group was called for by action of the Arizona Game and Fish Commission, which asked commissioner Kurt Davis to chair an ad hoc group that will explore ways to unite stakeholders in working together in a positive manner on important issues and challenges affecting the future of hunting, fishing and wildlife management in Arizona.

The Arizona Game and Fish Department prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, sex, national origin, age, or disability in its programs and activities.
