Why Doesn’t Bank Of America Issue Statement of Support for the Second Amendment?

Why Doesn’t Bank Of America Issue Statement of Support for the Second Amendment?

North Carolina –-(Ammoland.com)- GRNC has been in direct contact with Charlotte-based Bank of America.

While expressing sympathy, Bank representatives have publicly side-stepped the issue of gun rights, tried to imply blame on firearms-related businesses by hiding behind unclear “confidentiality concerns” and when offered an opportunity to clarify support of the right to keep and bear arms on GRNC’s website, they offered the following cynical non-response:

“…it is absolutely not true that we would dismiss a customer purely based on being in this (firearms-related) industry. In reviewing the facts of the case, we do believe there was a miscommunication with this client, and we have already reinforced our policies with our teams and with the client. We have also discussed with the client a transition period during which the client may be able to obtain a new source of funding.”

Remember, these “reinforced policies” led them to abruptly cut the credit lines of McMillan Fiberglass Stocks, Inc; manufacturer of firearms and accessories, including vital components of the M40A3 Marine Corps sniper rifle currently used by our forces in Afghanistan. This step was taken by BoU Senior Vice President Ray Fox who reportedly indicated to McMillan that the decision was “politically motivated”.

These attacks are being launched from our backyards

If they want to behave like they are from Bloomberg’s NYC, they can move. While they are in the free state of North Carolina they will act responsibly or answer to US!

IMMEDIATE ACTION REQUIRED:

Cut ’em up!

Cut up your BoA credit cards, transfer checking and saving accounts, terminate BoA lines of credit, and seek mortgages and financing elsewhere.

Call and email Bank of America leaders

Tell them you are terminating your business with them due to their attacks on honest American businesses. If you ‘Tweet’ let them know of your actions via Twitter also.

They started this and we are going to finish it. Bottom line, to make it stop, BoA MUST: (1) Publicly announce in clear terms that BoA embraces Second Amendment-related businesses and; (2) that BoA client managers are being instructed as such.

Then their pain will stop, and not until.

Call AND email these bank officials

Bank of America Representatives:

Your responses to my concerns that you are attacking honest, American firearms businesses and suppliers of critical military equipment have been cynical and unresponsive.

If you will not support the Second Amendment rights of free Americans in clear and straight-forward terms, I cannot continue to do business with you.

I am now taking steps to transfer my BoA checking and savings accounts, cancel my credit accounts, and will not consider BoA as a source of future mortgage or other financing.

If you wish for me to reconsider doing business with you MUST: (1) Publicly announce in clear terms that BoA embraces Second Amendment businesses and; (2) that BoA client managers are being instructed as such.

I will not consider doing further business with you until this happens.

Sincerely,

A Gun-Owning North Carolinian

Capitalism in it's purest. Everyone has to make decisions on where and with whom they do business. I personally do a lot of voting with my wallet and I will do so without tipping off BoA nor giving any explination unless asked. If you feel it necessary to inform them ahead of time, to attempt to influence a change on their part, of why you are moving your business elsewhere, knock yourself out. I won't. They should know or be capable of figuring it out themselves. There are MANY corporationa dn companies the are anti-gun. I am anti-them, it's just… Read more »

Don't forget that Merrill Lynch is owned by Bank of America. Cancel your brokerage account.

Thankfully I finally had the opportunity to get a new account this week. Next month you're fired BOFA! You have stolen way to much of my paltry finances anyway just for the privilege of holding my money….

This stuff has been happening. Recently, Living Social, said they couldn't run any kind of CCW deal with me because they didn't want the press resulting from the Zimmerman case.
