USA --(Ammoland.com)- AMERICAN GUNS is in its second season on The Discovery Channel and we have an exclusive clip from this Wednesday’s episode, where the Wyatt’s – Rich, Renee, Kurt and Paige – shoot dragon’s breath from a Taurus Judge, which Rich refers to as “hell in a shotgun shell.”

Paige volunteers to go first and explains that dragon’s breath is pure phosphorus that creates a wall of fire.

In case you’re not familiar, AMERICAN GUNS follows Rich Wyatt and his wife Renee, who own Gunsmoke – located outside Denver, Colorado. They buy, sell and trade guns – from hand canons to hunting rifles. And if you don’t see what you want, they’ll build one for you from nothing more than a block of metal.

On this Wednesday’s episode, the Gunsmoke crew creates a historically inspired hybrid: an axe mortar gun. The axe gun dates from medieval times when firearms were less dependable, and people wanted the blade included in their weapon for backup.

Truck driver Lyle is also featured purchasing a Springfield Trapdoor – a replacement for a gun originally given to him by his father. Lyle had received the gift on Christmas as a child, but unfortunately the gun went missing shortly after his divorce.

Rich and Renee also make a house call to Nascar driver Regan Smith, who’s looking to defend his home against bears, coyotes and other wildlife. He and his wife had just moved from North Carolina, and one day she discovered a bear on their back porch – and Regan decided it was time to call Rich.

Tune in for an all-new episode of American Guns this Wednesday at 9:00pm ET/PT.
