Charlotte, NC –-(Ammoland.com)- Please call your state Representative today and urge him or her to vote to concur with the Senate version of the NRA-supported Senate Bill 489 and Senate Bill 760.

Time is running out and these bills need your help to reach the Governor’s desk by THIS Friday.

Senate Bill 489, authored by state Senator Brian Munzlinger (SD-18), is a critical Right-to-Carry cleanup bill that would address the confusion surrounding the increase of training requirements that occurred last legislative session.

This bill contains a clause to allow for those certificate holders who were already issued a firearms safety training certificate prior to August 28, 2011, to receive a concealed carry endorsement without having to re-take the training course.

Senate Bill 760, authored by state Senator Tom Dempsey (SD-23), includes important Right-to-Carry provisions that would allow persons who serve in the United States armed forces to apply for a concealed carry endorsement at age 18 and to transport a concealable firearm in their vehicle if they are Missouri residents or are stationed in Missouri.
