Charlotte, NC –-(Ammoland.com)- Time is running out and House Bill 1647 needs your help to pass in the Missouri Legislature tomorrow.

Please call your State Representative right away and urge him or her to vote in favor of the Senate amendments to this NRA-supported bill.

House Bill 1647, authored by state Representative Jeanie Riddle (R-20) and shepherded through the Senate by state Senator Mike Kehoe (R-6), has been amended in the Senate to include important Right-to-Carry reforms.

If enacted, this bill would lower the Right-to-Carry age from 21 to 18 for the active-duty military stationed in Missouri, remove the penalty for accidental exposure of a concealed firearm by persons who have a right-to-carry permit, establish gun rights restoration for those who are currently prohibited from restoring their Second Amendment rights, and provide a relief-from-disabilities process allowing an individual to get his or her firearm rights restored.  Additionally, this legislation would legalize auto-opening knife ownership.
