Woollard Case – Latest Update from Maryland’s Attorney General

Maryland –-(Ammoland.com)- On May 23, 2012, the Maryland Attorney General filed another document in support of the State’s position that the Federal District Court for Maryland should impose a stay on its order for relief pending a ruling by the Federal 4th Circuit Court on the State’s appeal.

A study by the Harvard Injury Control Research Center was included in support of the State’s position.

It should be noted that the Harvard Injury Control Research Center Bulletins are funded by the notoriously anti-gun Joyce Foundation.

Should the 4th Circuit rule in favor of Woollard, the State will no doubt ask for a stay of the Court’s ruling pending an appeal to the Supreme Court.
