New Berlin, Wis. --(Ammoland.com)- Sportsman Channel, the leader in outdoor TV for the American Sportsman, is proud to support the 12th Annual Brew City Salmon Tournament happening this Saturday, August 4 2012, at McKinley Marina in Milwaukee, Wis.

And like in year’s past, the tournament is donating its catch to the Milwaukee Rescue Mission to feed those in need.

“This is our top tournament every year – we have 100 plus boats competing for up to $4,000 in prizes,” said Bob Wincek, President of the Great Lakes Sport Fisherman Milwaukee Chapter. “With that, we expect to donate more than 700 pounds of fish to the Milwaukee Rescue Mission. Last year, we topped at 1,000 pounds. Our Captains are very generous with their catches.”

The tournament also offers numerous prizes for largest fish and for Captains of the first boats coming back with their limits before noon. “This is the largest one-day tournament on this side of Lake Michigan. Spectators are welcome!” said Wincek.

The tournament will also have t-shirt sales and raffle items during the day. The weigh-in starts at noon. Club members are cleaning the fish and packing them in coolers to take to the Rescue Mission.

Sportsman Channel is supporting the Brew City Salmon Tournament as part of a seven-tournament series this summer in partnership with Salmon Unlimited. The network provided prize money for the series and will film part of the series. For more information on Salmon Unlimited’s tournament series, visit http://www.salmonunlimitedinc.com/suopen.html
