Kowa’s 800 Series spotting scopes are so superior they are in a class of their own. Boasting an 88mm objective lens, and the ability to be used as a digiscope, the 800 “Super Scopes” are sure to be the only spotting scopes you’ll ever need.
The 800 Series consists of four models, with two straight lens models and two angled lens models. All lenses are waterproof and filled with nitrogen gas to prevent fogging. The Kowa inner focus system is integrated, as well, which decreases image movement when focusing on objects.
The TSN-881 (straight) and TSN-882 (angled) are equipped with an 88mm high-grade optical glass lens. The lens allows for the maximum amount of light gathering to create a clear image, as well as a large visual range.
The TSN-883 (straight) and TSN-884 (angled) are equipped with an 88mm pure fluorite crystal Prominar objective lens, making for superior visual range and maximum light gathering, creating the clearest, sharpest image you can get in the field.
With a complete system of adapters, the 800 Series scopes can be turned into digiscopes – making them compatible with various digital, SLR and video cameras. Combining the ability to observe, photograph and film nature with the image power of a spotting scope will create an unmatched functionality that will enhance your experience in the great outdoors.
Interchangeable eyepieces are available for the 800 Series, making it more versatile. Eyepieces from other Kowa spotting scopes can also be used with a converter, and a locking mechanism locks eyepiece in place.
All models have a magnesium alloy body, making the scopes easy to carry and handle, as well as compact and rugged, which is ideal for packing with you in any outdoor environment. A variety of cases and tripods are available for these scopes as well.
