Columbus, OH --(Ammoland.com)- Sportsmen have a unique opportunity to meet and hear the 2012 Republican Vice Presidential Nominee, Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan, as he headlines the U.S. Sportsmen’s Alliance 16th Annual “Save Our Heritage” Rally, sponsored by the Ithaca Gun Company.

The event will be held on Saturday, September 29 at the Aladdin Shrine Temple in Columbus, Ohio.

At this event, Congressman Ryan will interact with the leadership of the Midwest’s most dedicated sportsmen’s organizations, all of whom are committed to the future of wildlife conservation.

“It is truly an honor to have Congressman Ryan joining us for our celebration,” said USSA President Bud Pidgeon. “Not only is he an accomplished bowhunter in his own right, but he truly understands our issues and is a strong champion of our hunting heritage.”

Doors open at 3:00 p.m. with raffles, live and silent auctions, games and dinner to follow. In addition, everyone in attendance at the rally will receive a single entry into the grand prize drawing for their very own 18-acre hunting paradise.

The land give-a-way is made possible through a generous contribution from the B & N Coal Co., of Dexter City, Ohio. In addition to giving away 18 acres of land, we’ll be giving away dozens of guns and bows, and other great prizes.

Tickets are available now, though seating will be limited. To purchase tickets, contact USSA at (614) 888-4868 or visit www.ussportsmen.org/rally to purchase online.

First held in 1997 to fight anti-hunting efforts, the USSA “Save Our Heritage” Rally is a celebration of our rich outdoor heritage and strong hunting community.

    1. Nice to see a VP candidate is pro-hunting, but what about being PRO-GUN? In the pictures, he is shown w/a bow. Where is pics with rifle/shotgun? How many PRO-GUN, F&G, R&G clubs is he a member of and for how long? Like, just joined for the election?

Have seen moderates & less, supposedly for hunting rights BUT wishy-washy on gun rights issues, whether collecting, hunting, or personal use.

George Bush Sr. ran as an NRA Life Member. He was urked off at the NRA for something (??) and denounced his life membership. Media picked up on that and broadcasted as why not to belong to the NRA. Then Tom Foley, a NRA Life Member, gave up his membership too. Anti-gunnists & the media were howling for joy in why not to be an NRA member.

John Kerry,(who served in Vietnam) was given a 12ga semi-auto shotgun by union members as having faith in him & his policies. YET, that same shotgun was one type Kerry wanted to OUTLAW in a gun control undesirable list.

Bill Clinton was no pro-gun prez unless Gov’t could limit/control guns & YOU And charge $$$ for it!!! He was seen w/a shotgun out duck hunting, records showed he had never had a hunting license before & I’m sure never took a hunter safety course.

If you have any Pro-Gun pics/facts of Paul Ryan, please send them in. I DO WANT TO KNOW. I’m not against him but just want to know where he stands on gun issues.

    2. @Gunner: Paul Ryan is very pro gun and in fact we have spent time shooting with him at recent Congressional Sportsman’s Shootouts.
