While attempting to purchase 22 ammo for plinking with my son for the past month, I had a conversation with a long time gunsmith and gun shop owner who had ammo, but rightfully limited my purchase of what he had to one box of each caliber that I needed. He blamed the limited ammo on the EPA who thru their increasingly strengant regulations on lead smelters and the shutting down of another major smelter recently. Is this something that Midway is seeing as a limiting major factor also? If so is there a movement by the industry to make customers aware of this underlying government constriction of the 2nd ammendment by limiting gun use by bypassing congressional actions. I am a NRA member and this concerns me as a method by which executive order as well as the EPA could undermine the constitution unless congress acts against it or defunds the EPA.
