Washington DC - -(Ammoland.com)- When Sens. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), Chuck Schumer (D-NY), Joe Manchin (D-WV), and certain Democrats in the House of Representatives, promise to push for more gun control in January 2013, they overlook four important words: “shall not be infringed.”
These words form an integral phrase in the 2nd Amendment, and speak to our Founders’ intent that the U.S. government not “infringe” on the peoples’ God-given right to keep and bear arms.
Consider the text of the 2nd Amendment:
A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.
As I’ve written in earlier posts, the 2nd Amendment does not create a right nor does it confer one. Rather, it hedges in a right with which we were “endowed by [our] Creator.” When we understand this, it’s easy to see that our Founders put this amendment in place to tell the government that the right to keep and bear arms is sacrosanct.
When Democrats push their gun control schemes in January – if they actually follow through with the gun control schemes they’ve floated during the past week – they must understand that they will be doing exactly what our Founders said they have no power to do. They will be infringing on a right that the Bill of Rights explicitly lists as off limits to inference by the federal government.
This is something the leftists running our academies don’t want us to know, so it’s something that many of us weren’t taught and certainly something that our children don’t hear — even in U.S. history. Therefore, now more than ever, it is a truth that we must recover and one to which we must cling when answering the Democrats’ pending gun-grabbing schemes.
Our Founders recognized the right to keep and bear arms as essential and God-given. Because of this, they hedged in this right by telling the government it “shall not be infringed.”

Senator Feinstein,Senator Charles Schumer,and the Mayor of New York Mike Bloomberg.These gun grabbing ill-informed people need to be out of office.Feinstein in a anti-assault weapons rally.Had a AK-47 handed to her and with her finger on the trigger swept the audience with the barrel.She had no clue that her gun handling skills sucked and she carried on like all was normal.Feinstein was recently re-elected by the liberals in California with her husbands money.I hope she will retire soon.I don’t like anything about her.When she is out of office I will party big time.

The second amendment reads: “A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state , the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.”
Definitions of the above words are from the typical American standard dictionary, for the anti-rights liberal elite who prefer to twist things to their own ends:

Militia: An army composed of ordinary citizens rather than professional soldiers.
A military force that is not part of a regular army and is subject to call for service in an emergency. The whole body of physically fit civilians eligible by law for military service.
Necessary: Absolutely essential; Needed to achieve a certain result or effect; Required by obligation, compulsion, or convention; Something indispensable.
Security: Something that gives or assures safety, as A group or department of private guards. Measures adopted, as by a business or homeowner, to prevent a crime such as burglary or assault: Freedom from risk or danger; safety.
Free: Not imprisoned or enslaved; being at liberty; Not controlled by obligation or the will of another; Not subject to arbitrary interference by a government.
State: A specific mode of government; A body politic, especially one constituting a nation.
Right: Fitting, proper, or appropriate; Most favorable, desirable, or convenient; Conforming with or conformable to justice, law, or morality; A just or legal claim or title; According to law, morality, or justice.
People: A body of persons living in the same country under one national government; a nationality; The mass of ordinary persons; the populace; The citizens of a political unit, such as a nation or state; the electorate; A body of persons living in the same country under one national government; a nationality.
Keep: To retain possession of: To have as a supply; To maintain for use or service; To manage, tend, or have charge of.
Bear: To carry from one place to another; transport; To be accountable for; assume; To have a tolerance for.
Arms: A weapon, especially a firearm; To equip with weapons; To provide with something that strengthens or protects.
Shall: Used before a verb in the infinitive to show something, such as an order, promise, requirement, or obligation.
Not: In no way; to no degree. Used to express negation, denial, refusal, or prohibition.
Infringed: To transgress or exceed the limits of; violate; Obsolete To defeat; invalidate. To encroach on someone or something; engage in trespassing. Latin nfringere, to destroy
Now, my liberal ‘friend’, what part of this statement do you not understand? Pretty profound use of language from them old dead white guys that wrote this up, no?

handle the new information released by officials in Newton today that it appears only hand guns were used in the tragic taking of the lives of children and adults.
@ Brian…..You have no idea what is meant by “well regulated militia” do you? The meaning in 1787, the year the Consititution was adopted, of “well regulated” was well manned, not well structured as a military force. Militia is all of us…to this day. The idea behind a militia is the citizen’s army. Why a citizen’s army? To counterbalance the professional army, which is controlled by the politicians. Historicially professional armies have been used to control the citizens when a government desires to step outside it’s consititutional mandates. If you’ll refer to your copy of the Federalist Papers (which exists to explain the ideas within the COTUS, how the amendments were designed) you will see the original idea of an armed population considered in times of need a militia was so the citizens outnumbered, and outgunned, the army which might one day be unleashed upon us by our own government. Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Saddam, Pol Pot….all took away rights, then annialated anyone they deemed unworthy of life. Our 2A is designed to not allow our government to ever step out beyond their lawful mandate.
@ Brian…..So it appears, according to the Founders of this nation that YOU are a part of the “well regulated militia” you appear to hold in contempt. You sir are part of the citizen’s army to counter any encroachments on our rights and indeed our very lives. But I am afraid you will simply bow down to your overlords one day and accept the fate of a slave. The rest of us will die trying to save your ass.

Every person that produces , directs or acts in any violent movie involving firearms should be executed for inciting murder and mayhem , as well as all those that produce and sell violent video games , and those who then come out in opposition to the means of our self defense for gun control after causing this mayhem , well , their executions should be carried out by dragging behind a off road vehicle in races running the BaHa .
