Its cool to own a Ak-47 type rifle or a AR-15 type rifle.Its history as these weapons represent what the armies of the world have used over the years.The civilian market can own a semi-auto 16 inch plus barrel of these rifles.They are used for target shooting and sometimes deer hunting,varmint hunting with a scope.Its a shame that some mentally de-aranged individuals have stolen firearms or bought them legally and have shot and killed others.These mentally ill individuals have wounded and killed children and adults.So now because of their actions the legally responsible gun owners have more and more laws put on them making it harder to buy these weapons.We should enforce the laws we have on the books and there should be armed guards and trained teachers and individuals to carry guns concealed at our schools.So that this tragic stuff stops at our schools.
