As despicable as Slick WIlly can be he’s not totally stupid. When he gets his pp whacked he knows how to change his tune and not get whacked again. He exhibited this when he was governor and as prez….after the 94 election. Willy is a professional politician, BHO is just a thug from a notoriously corrupt political organization.

Every time some nut case kills innocent people, the libs’ start drooling. They don’t care about the innocents, they’re dying to disarm us, so they can eventually control us. With a controlled populace, and controlled liberal houses in congress, they can pass any law they want without fear of any retaliation. They’re filling their pockets and the pockets on a population of people that won’t get up off their butts and fend for themselves. This distribution of wealth by the libs’ is starting to get out of hand. We’ll be at their mercy.

They don’t care about us. Neither party. They only care about re-election and that’s pretty much what Clinton said here! That being said, if they push this gun control nonsense, it will destroy the democratic party. I guess some republicans would like that. However, the republican party is only marginally better and only on some things, meanwhile they too clamor for the government to control our private lives just in different ways. It was G.W. Bush who wiped his arse with the Constitution too. That whole first, fourth and fifth amendment that he had absolutely no regard for.

‘We the People’ need to get some people into office that will do what is in the best interest of this country and in the best interest of us, rather than in the best interest of their cronies and corporate sponsors.

I wish that our politicians were even broaching the subject of the care and control of the mentally ill. While the ACLU defends the “right” of this segment of society to NOT take their prescribed medications and these individuals’ families have little to no ability to actually assist their mentally ill loved ones should the need arise (to both protect the individual as well as the rest of society), our taxes fund a government more concerned with controlling law abiding citizens that own guns as this segment of society poses a direct threat to themselves and their political careers. I want to see closer regulation of the mentally ill. I am a health care provider and I can tell you that close to 40% of the patients I have contact with have an actual diagnosis of a psychiatric illness and less than half of them are taking their medications. And that is only about that portion of society that actually has a formal diagnosis on record!

Elections can/are cooked. The powers that be can find a “slot” somewhere for those that fall on their sword. What the politicians need to fear is an angered citizenry that senses their govt is in the final stages of the planned disarming of them.

I think a lot of the most vocal politicians are either oblivious or unwilling to admit that a lot of Democrats own guns, too. Most of the Democrats I know who aren’t filthy rich (and I know w bunch of them) work in factories, the trades and all kinds of other jobs, including finance & law. They hunt, shoot for recreation and some also collect. One lawyer said he has every model of Glock, although he also has several others by many manufacturers. If they try to take his guns, he won’t just hand them over, I guarantee it. None of the others will, either.

These shootings should never happen, but it’s the mental health aspect the far Left refuses to acknowledge that’s causing them. The shooter who just killed five had homicidal and suicidal thoughts prior to carrying out his crime- hardly the fault of the guns, but he also shouldn’t have had access. People need to be more responsible with dangerous items but too many think they know everything about gun ownership just from reading about it.
