Washington DC - -(Ammoland.com)-Chicago has long been the proving ground for gun-grabbers’ anti-2nd Amendment zeal.

And with the most draconian gun control laws in the land, you’d think it would be an idyllic oasis of safety: a place where violence and evil have no place.

However, the fact is, Chicago is an extremely violent city because criminals possess the largest portion of guns there. And in 2012 alone, 1.5 people died each day after being shot by bad people with guns.

Think about it — Chicago long ago went in the very direction Barack Obama, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), and Mayor Michael Bloomberg want our entire country to go with in regard to gun laws. And has this made the city safer?

Absolutely not. Instead, 532 people were killed by criminals with guns in Chicago during the 2012 calendar year alone.

And don’t forgot, apart from those who were killed, over 440 school age children were shot and wounded in Chicago during 2012 as well. This is a pertinent piece of information for many weak-kneed Republicans who suddenly find themselves open to gun control arguments following the Sandy Hook shooting. It is pertinent because it clearly demonstrates that if we implement Chicago-like gun control on a national level, we can count on many more children dying at the hands of criminals with guns.

Chicago is Obama’s blueprint for national gun control. And as the numbers demonstrate, it’s a horrific blueprint.

One and a half people a day die in Chicago where Obama’s gun control solutions are already in place. Just think of how many people will die if we’re foolish enough to put them in place for the entire country.

    1. Unless and until something is done about drug related gang violence, nothing will do any good.

And didn’t we learn ANYTHING from prohibition!

    2. Personally, I really don’t care when bangers kill other bangers. I actually think they’re doing the world a favor.

It’s only a problem when innocents get caught in the crossfire.

Take all the bangers, put them in the desert with automatic weapons and then let them have at it. Last man standing wins.

    3. Since the criminal justice system has chosen to coddle these insects for decades, and incarceration has become a euphemism for a merry go round, and capital punishment has become a joke, just let these vermin exterminate each other! Give genocide a chance since our laws are toothless anyway! Don’t have this problem where I live and never will!

    4. There was an article of the game plan of gun confiscation that gave the specifics of how Dems would probably attack the problem. One way they described it was to crack down on gang violence. Doing that they can point to how a gun ban works well. They demonize the need for any weapons and point to how well their enforcement has worked.

To make those that do have guns look like criminals and what they do is for the greater good, is a couple ways they want to deprive us of our rights.

    5. There is no way I am going to try to hide behind my bed when someone kicks down my door to do God knows what and wait for the police to come save me and when they do hope they don’t shot me like the did in New York
