WEST HARTFORD, Conn. –-(Ammoland.com)- Colt’s Manufacturing Company LLC and LaserMax are partnering to present the CenterFire laser for the Colt Mustang.

The CenterFire laser mounts directly and seamlessly to the trigger guard on the Mustang, without the necessity of changing any parts or altering the pistol in any way.

“Accuracy and reliability are two of our highest priorities when it comes to the design and manufacturing of the Colt Mustang,” said Joyce Rubino, Colt’s Vice President of Marketing, “The addition of the LaserMax CenterFire laser serves to enhance these qualities on one of our most popular concealed carry handguns.”

The user can install the CenterFire unit on the Colt Mustang in minutes. The constant red laser beam sits just under the bore, providing the highest level of accuracy while also preventing the shooter’s finger from blocking the beam. Controlled Activation allows for ambidextrous use, including an on/off switch that turns the beam on only when needed. The CenterFire laser comes factory aligned at 10 yards and is user adjustable.

The LaserMax CenterFire Laser Series can be mounted to both legacy model Mustangs and the new .380 Mustang Pocketlite. The unit retails for $139.

“The Colt Mustang has always been a popular choice for concealed carry and personal protection,” said Rubino. “We are proud to bring this product to market in conjunction with LaserMax to provide customers with increased confidence in their shot.”

where can you get a kydex holster for colt mustang pocketlite with lasermax?? Older model

I picked up a mustang pocketlite (alloy frame) that came with the lasermax a couple months ago from Buds and IMHO it may be one of the best concealed carry options if your comfortable with SAO /condition 1 carry and the .380 cartridge. The slide is easy to rack, even with one hand, and this gun CAN be cycled with the safety on when the hammer is cocked -GREAT FEATURE. One issue is that the first round of a full 6rnd factory magazine can “nosedive” and stop the slide unless you really “slingshot” it, but it has always cycled reliably… Read more »

I’ve got a Colt Mustang XSP .380 and just love it.
Had a problem with F.T.E. but the ammo was low recoil so when I went to ‘regular’ ammo the problem went away.

Will it fit the Mustang XSP? More info please.

Where can I get one?

If it'll fit the older Mustang Pocketlite, I want one. Damn, I just bought a new holster. Now Bianchi will have to make another to accomadate the laser and I'll have to buy it again. Tell them to get busy on that for me please. So how do I get this?

Don Petersen

Would love to see a picture of the new unit. Special holsters required?

Will it fit older Colt .380 models, e.g. Government Pocketlite and the original Colt Mustang?

If you're making a new product announcement it's traditional to actually have a picture of the product to show.
