ACCOKEEK, MD –-(Ammoland.com)- Franchi is proud to introduce a brand new model over & under called the Aspire.

It features a color-case hardened, round-action receiver that wastes not an ounce of metal and gives this diminutive gun a classic look and feel.

The Aspire is a sub-gauge chambered in either 28 gauge or .410 bore. The distinctive slim action is not only attractive, but it makes the gun easy to handle by reducing weight and offering a comfortable, balanced place to carry the gun, one of the many features that make the Aspire an ideal upland gun.

The Aspire’s mechanical triggers ensure that both hammers are cocked upon breaking open the action, and that a second shot will be certain. An automatic safety integrates a built-in barrel selector that’s quick and easy to use.

The Aspire, in both gauges, comes with 28-inch barrels and five chokes. The barrel configuration features a solid rib between the barrels to prevent debris from catching or collecting. The sighting plane on the top barrel utilizes an upland-style 6mm vent-rib with a

fiber-optic front sight, allowing for quick target acquisition and easy, instinctive aiming.

The Aspire’s beautifully figured European walnut stock sports an oil finish, enhancing the wood’s natural grain and features a Prince-of-Wales-style pistol grip.

The thin wrist and slim forend allow for a firm and comfortable grip on the gun that promotes a smooth swing and easy follow-through. This is a perfectly balanced, lightweight shotgun that’s easy to carry and handles like a dream. Once you’ve held it, you will “aspire” to own it.

I just bought a Franchi Aspire 410 and so far all I can say it is a piece of cow dung. It does not kick the trigger over to the top barrel after firing the bottom barrel first. It is probably 3 times out of five that it does this. I will take it back and get my money back for this piece of crap. I never cared much for Beretta’s either.
